- University of Missouri Sanborn Maps for Missouri
Between 1955 and 1978, the Library of Congress offered duplicate sheets and atlases from their collection to selected libraries. The University of Missouri-Columbia Libraries acquired the maps for Missouri towns and cities. The University of Missouri-Columbia Ellis Library Special Collections Department has digitized 6,798 of the maps for Missouri cities from 1880 to 1922, which document the layout of 390 Missouri cities from 1883 to 1951
- Library of Congress American Memory Project: St. Louis Maps
The Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress holds more than 4.5 million items, of which only a small fraction have been digitized. The focus of Map Collections is Americana and Cartographic Treasures of the Library of Congress. These images were created from maps and atlases and, in general, are restricted to items that are not covered by copyright protection.

Dakin Fire Insurance Maps
This collection from the University of Hawaii contains 78 maps of various urbanized areas within the Hawaiian Islands. Most of the maps are focused on Honolulu and they reveal the early stages of intense urbanization across the city. The maps date from 1891 to 1906 and they feature a tremendous amount of detail including information about local road infrastructure, building footprints, and so on.

Early Real Estate Atlases of New York
Over 2,000 maps of New York City, including Manhattan and Brooklyn "fire insurance maps" from the 1850s-1860, showing streets, blocks, tax lots, natural and manmade features, and more.

The Sanborn Map Collection consists of a uniform series of large-scale detailed maps, dating from 1867 through 1969 and depicting the commercial, industrial, and residential sections of cities.

A collection of more than 300 bibliographic units in more than 3,000 map sheets. This collection of public domain maps was digitized from the printed maps held in the collections of the Smathers Libraries ' Map & Imagery Library, on the campus of the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL).
